TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the use of our websites, use of our web or mobile applications and use of our products and services. By accessing our website, using our Service, procuring our products/services and using our web or mobile applications, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions (the “Agreement”). Furthermore, you agree that all information you provide us is accurate, correct and up to date and that you will notify us of any changes immediately should there be changes to the information that you provided us.

  2. All bookings and spaces are on first-come-first serve basis.  Please check with us the availability of space before booking.  In case you already made booking/payment and we do not have the space to accommodate your luggage, we will issue full refund to you. 

  3. All bookings and confirmations must be made at least 3 days before your arrival. Should you require our service at a last minute, we will charge you extra fee of RM100.00.

  4. KL Spare Room is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public holiday.  Should you require your luggage on these days additional fee of RM100.00 will be chargeable.  However this can be waived if you store more than 2 bags for more than 3 weeks. 

  5. KL Spare Room business hour is from 8.00am - 11.00pm.  Should you require your luggage outside our business hour, a fee of RM50.00 will be applicable. However this can be waived if you store more than 2 bags for more than 3 weeks. 

  6. The specified date/time by you for pick-up and delivery must be accurate.  Please be punctual.  If your flight arrives at 9.00am, your pick up time should be 10.00am. This will allow you time for passport clearance and etc.  Do inform us if there is a flight delay.  We will charge you RM100.00 for waiting more than 30 mins.

  7. All paid luggage storage must follow the weight limit according to the size.  Overweight luggage will be charged extra RM15.00 per kg.

  8. Your luggage must be padlock.  We will not accept your luggage for storage if you did not padlock your luggage.  You can purchase padlock from us in advance and we will bring with us when we pick up your luggage.  

  9. KL Spare Room is not interested with the items in your luggage. We will not answer to any claim that items in your luggage is missing.  We are committed to serve our customers with high integrity.

  10. The bag, box or container you are storing needs to be strong and durable.  Must be pad-locked!

  11. Bicycles or surfboards need to be in a protective bag or box. No addition items to be stored inside the box.

  12. Customers are permitted to drop off standard luggage for storage. The following types of luggage are not considered as standard:

    • Jewelry

    • Cash

    • Weapons

    • Valuable documents

    • Life-saving medicine

    • Electronics such as smart phones/laptop/i-pad.

    • Explosive items and substances

    • Flammable fluids etc.

    • Live animals

    • Perishable goods; including food and beverage etc.

    • Narcotics

    • Items that are illegal to possess according to Malaysian law.

    • Fragile items that are not suitable for storage with other luggage.

    • Items with significant sentimental value

  13. Please be aware that the we reserve the right to ask you to open your luggage to make sure that no forbidden belongings are stored in your luggage.

  14. Damage or loss of the items covered in the list stated in point number 13 are not covered by KL Spare Room, and are therefore the customer’s own responsibility.

  15. KL Spare Room have the right to refuse storing luggage that contains items listed in point number 13.

  16. Should KL Spare Room become aware that any luggage stored contains the items listed in point. 13, depending on the nature of the item, they are entitled to destroy or remove the item, hand it over to the police or other authority, ensure suitable storage at the customer’s cost or in any other way take the necessary action for the relevant items.

  17. If someone other than yourself is to collect your luggage, you must give them the original storage receipt and a letter of authority, plus a detailed description of your luggage so they can identify it.

  18. Luggage left unpaid for 6 months or longer will be given to charity and no compensation offered. Payments can be made in person or via PayPal.

  19. Storage fees must be paid in full. No refund will be offered should you cut short your storage duration.

  20. Last minute cancellation one day before pick up day will result in penalty of up to 50% of the total fee paid.

  21. KL Spare Room does not sell or share information to unrelated third parties.
